Jon Cryer as Daniel


(Daniel/Writer/Producer) attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and has since worked in virtually every part of the entertainment industry from television and radio to Broadway and feature films. He played David in the Los Angeles and Broadway productions of Harvey Fierstein's Tony Award winning  TORCH SONG TRILOGY and also on Broadway in Neil Simon's BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS, off Broadway in Jules Feiffer's CARNAL KNOWLEDGE, and in London's West End in the premiere production of David Beaird's 900 ONEONTA. Cryer has appeared in numerous feature films including NO SMALL AFFAIR with Demi Moore, HIDING OUT, HOT SHOTS!, PLAN B, and very memorably as Duckie in PRETTY IN PINK. His extensive television work includes starring in the Emmy award winning series THE FAMOUS TEDDY Z, as well as PARTNERS, GETTING PERSONAL, THE TROUBLE WITH NORMAL and CBS's current top ten hit comedy TWO AND A HALF MEN. WENT TO CONEY ISLAND ON A MISSION FROM GOD... BE BACK BY FIVE marks his second feature as both writer and producer with partner, Richard Schenkman who together with Adam Oliensis created the film, THE POMPATUS OF LOVE. His most recent studio film was Touchstone's HOLY MAN with Eddie Murphy and Jeff Goldblum. In recent  years Jon has returned to the theater for runs in two highly successful plays; Jeff Sweet's world premiere of BLUFF at Chicago's renowned Victory Gardens Theater and the Los Angeles premiere of 900 ONEONTA for which he received both Garland and L.A. Weekly Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor.

Rick Stear as Stan


(Stan) is making his feature film debut with WENT TO CONEY ISLAND ON A MISSION FROM GOD...BE BACK BY FIVE and has never before been on celluloid. His stage credits include playing Tybalt in the Hartford Stage's production of ROMEO & JULIET, Michael in the Coconut Grove Playhouse's production of INDISCRETIONS, and Eros in the Great Lakes Theatre Festival's production of ANTONY & CLEOPATRA. His New York work consists of a recent stint opposite Helen Hunt in TWELFTH NIGHT. Rick is a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts.

Rafael Baez as Stan and Daniel's tortured friend Richie


(Richie) has worked on numerous television shows including LAW & ORDER, NEW YORK UNDERCOVER, SWIFT JUSTICE and THIRD WATCH. His film credits include Director Harold Becker's SEA OF LOVE and Director Robert Wise's ROOFTOPS. Rafael has worked extensively Off Broadway including stints at The Public Theatre and Playwrights Horizons. He has just recently completed SHANGHAI NOON with Jackie Chan as well as a standout role in ABC's critically lauded WONDERLAND.

Ione Skye plays Stan's childhood sweetheart Gabby


(Gabby) made her feature film debut in the critically acclaimed RIVER'S EDGE before starring with John Cusack in the box office smash SAY ANYTHING, she has since worked extensively in the independent film world appearing in such films as FOUR ROOMS, DREAM FOR AN INSOMNIAC, STRANDED, MINDWALK, and GAS FOOD LODGING. Her studio films include A NIGHT IN THE LIFE OF JIMMY REARDON, GUN CRAZY, ONE NIGHT STAND and WAYNE'S WORLD. lone's made for television movie credits include Showtime's GIRLS IN PRISON and ABC's COVINGTON CROSS.

Frank Whaley plays the intractable Skee-Ball Weasel


(Skee-ball Weasel) has appeared in virtually every motion picture ever made. Okay not quite, but his numerous feature films include CAREER OPPORTUNITIES, BROKEN ARROW, PULP FICTION, IQ, SWIMMING WITH SHARKS, HOFFA, SWING KIDS, JFK, THE DOORS, A MIDNIGHT CLEAR, CAFE SOCIETY, THE FRESHMAN, BORN ON THE FOURTH OF JULY and FIELD OF DREAMS. His television credits include Showtime's THE OUTER LIMITS and NBC's FATAL DECEPTION: MRS. LEE HARVEY OSWALD. Frank has also recently won acclaim as the writer/director of the Sundance hit JOE THE KING.
